Year End Information
The last day of classes for the 2009-2010 school year is Wednesday June 30, 2010.
Classes for the 2010 - 2011 school year begin on Tuesday September 7, 2010.
Our school office will be open the week starting Monday August 30, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Opening Day Procedures:
On Tuesday September 7th at 8:30 a.m. staff will be outside with class lists in order to assist with gathering students into their apprpriate class groupings. Please look for large grade level signs posted on the outside walls of the school and wait with your child there. Your child's teacher will organize all the students in his/her class and let you know what door they will be leaving from at the end of the day.

Christ is Our Light
St. Alfred is a member of the Mississauga East Family of Schools. Our banner has many symbols of our Catholic faith.
The three shafts of light shining through the window represent the Blessed Trinity and the image of Christ shining through each one of us.
The stained glass window is made up of 25 pieces in total, representing each of the 25 schools in the Mississauga East Family of Schools. Joned together they create something beautiful, something whole.
The purple cross respresents Reconciliation. our ability to forgive and to seek forgivemess.
The host represents the Eucharist; we are one body in Communion with Christ.
The flames represent Confirmation; our commitment to our faith.
