Policy on Personal Electronic Devices

• Dufferin-Peel Board Policy in the area of Personal Electronic Devices is very straightforward – and applies to all students and staff: they are to be turned off and out of sight. This policy applies at all times, and is to be enforced to the best of our abilities in hallways, on the playground, and elsewhere on school property. 
• Cameras, of any kind, are absolutely not to be used at school without direct teacher supervision (and signed consent by the parents of students whose pictures are being takes, as appropriate), and, likewise, the use of cell phones is not permitted, during the school day. (The office is always supportive of students who need to telephone home during the school day, for important/emergency reasons.)
