Busing Eligibility Changes For September 2014


Dear Parents, there has been a change in eligibility for student busing. Please check the STOPR website ( after July 1 to determine if your children are eligible for busing; the distance from the school has been reduced from 4.8km to 3.8km.

Get Ready 2014 / 2015 (Grade 9)


Cardinal Ambrozic is offering our incoming grade 9 students who are registered to start in September “The Get Ready Program” as part of a successful transition planning for grade 8-to-9 students.
It is being offered at Cardinal Ambrozic Secondary School to welcome and prepare them for their secondary school experience.
It starts Thursday, August 21, 2014 to Wednesday, August 27, 2014, from 8:30 to 12:30.
*Uniforms are not required but you should be dressed in decent summer clothing.

Friday, April 11 - Saturday, April 12, 2014
On Friday, April 11, 86 Ambrozic Students will have the opportunity to participate in service projects in the local community: Street Patrol, Scott Mission, St. Francis Table, Villages of Sandalwood Park Nursing Home, Villa Amica and City of Brampton Clean-Up. In the evening, students will be participating in a fast overnight at the school with a guest speaker and many activities.

GREEN DAY- April 9, 2014


On April 9th, Cardinal Ambrozic staff and students are encouraged to wear green to show their love for the environment! Two dollars will be collected from each participating student and staff member for our school's Share Life Charity.



On April 9th, Cardinal Ambrozic staff and students will be participating in our annual Spring Clean Up to collect garbage around our school community. Ambrozic will be doing their best to help local wildlife. Go Green Ambrozic!

EARTH HOUR- April 10, 2014


To help reduce energy use, Cardinal Ambrozic will be having Earth Hour for period 4 classes on April 10th.

Author Don Aker visited Cardinal Ambrozic on November 27th to speak to the grade 11 college English and Writers Craft students about his book The First Stone. What a great experience!!!

On October 21st, 2013 students from the Effective Presentation & Speaking Skills and Communications Technology classes had the chance to attend a taping of the George Stroumboulopoulos show at the CBC. It was a memorable media experience for all!

The Personal Support Worker program trains students to provide or assist with personal care for the elderly, the chronically ill and people with physical disabilities living in the community, in long-term care facilities and in select ambulatory settings.
