ATHLETICS ALIVE @ ST. ANNE
HOCKEY
Our Intermediate Hockey Team is busy preparing for the upcoming Tournaments on February 23rd. Our teachers vs. students 'Good Ole Hockey Game' will be on Friday, March 11th. Thank you to Mr. Pender and Ms. Slade for their dedication in coaching the team. This year we will be providing students from Primary to Intermediate grades with the opportunity to participate in intramural sports.
BASKETBALL
Our basketball teams are busy preparing for their tournaments in the month of February. Thanks to Mr. DelVecchio, Mr. Gomes and Mlle Hanna for coaching the Intermediate teams. We are also starting to prepare our Junior teams. Thanks to Mme. Bosco, Mr. DelVecchio and Mlle Hanna who are coaching the teams.
CROSS COUNTRY
On October 17th, the cross country team at St. Anne School participated in the Family Cross Country Meet at Heart Lake Conservation Park. The Grade 4 to 8 students ran impressive distances between 2.1 and 3.9 km. Congratulations to Blake N., Luke S., Filipe A., Adrian K., Isaiah Sc., Paige B. and Mateusz P. who qualified to go on to compete at the Board Meet at Erindale Campus on October 28th. All participants showed great dedication and sportsmanship during training practices and competitions. A very special thank you to all of the teachers who assisted in coaching this team: Mrs. Degabriele, Mlle. Roca and our student teachers, Ms. Roca and Ms. Vivaldo. Congratulations to all the students who ran!
VOLLEYBALL
The Girl's Intermediate Volleyball team competed in the Mini -
Tournament for the Brampton West Family of Schools on October 18th at Father C.W. Sullivan School. The girls played extremely well and represented St. Anne School brilliantly!
The girls showed heart, dedication and sportsmanship! The coaches are extremely proud of the girls. The members of the team are: Serena M., Cassandra C., Sydney H., Allison C., Alexa S., Kassandra P., Faith A., and Gabriella B. Many thanks to Mlle. Hanna and Mr. Delvecchio for their time in coaching the team.
Our Intermediate Boys Volleyball Team also participated in the Family of Schools Mini-
Tournament. They showed dedication and a great deal of drive.

On Tuesday November 23rd, the Junior Boys Volleyball team participated in a mini-tournament.
Our boys team was made up of:Tristan A., Dylan B., Andrew C., Isaac G., Godwin J., Ryan L., Nathaniel M., Xavier N., Luke S., Matthew P., JÕMar W., Connor W., and Michal Z. Special thanks to Mme. Bosco and Mr. Halverson for coaching the team!
On Wednesday, November 24th, the Junior Girls Volleyball team participated in a mini-tournament. The girls placed 2nd in the tournament.

SOCCER
Our Soccer Teams represented St. Anne School very well at the soccer tournaments. Congratulations goes out to our Girls Soccer Team who won the tournament! Our boys team also did very well at their soccer tournament.
