About Ascension of Our Lord S.S.  

Ascension Hall of Fame

Ascension of our Lord Secondary School is located in the village of Malton which is in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. We are a diverse Christian community rooted in the person of Jesus Christ. We educate in Catholic traditions with an emphasis on moral values, dignity, and appreciation of the Malton community. We strive for all to maximize their potential as we promote spiritual, intellectual, physical, emotional and social growth. This results in compassionate, responsible, and productive life-long learners committed to serving the community.

Ascension was first opened in 1977 serving the Malton community as a middle school.  The small building was expanded to accomodate the growing numbers of students when full funding for Catholic secondary education became a reality in the mid 1980s.  After 28 years, the original building was demolished to make room for the new Ascension.  Finally, in January 2006, the new building was opened to students.  Today, Ascension is housed in a state of the art facility designed to offer students choice and greater opportunities.

Our community is very diverse yet small enough that we can maintain a family-like atmosphere.  We invite you to come to Malton and visit Ascension of Our Lord.
