Principal's Message

Mr. Iwasiw
Welcome to St. Augustine Secondary School. Our school has a rich history in Catholic education in the southwest Brampton community, a history that is 21 years long. During that time, thousands of students have graduated from our school and have gone on to be successful and make a difference. Our school is a community of Faith, built on three foundational pillars of RESPECT, A PLACE OF TEACHING AND LEARNING, and SAFE SCHOOLS. We work very hard with our St. Augustine community to instill these pillars into their everyday thinking and actions, and of course, the values of Faith, Hope, and Charity are infused into all of our activities. We see this within our building and in our community outreach activities.
On the academic side, we strive for success. Our staff has demonstrated that they are committed to our students’ success through their work in the classroom. As a community, we continually look forward by reflecting on what we have done, fine-tuning as required, and moving with the times. We continue to add new programs that are viable for our community, and up-grade our facility, giving our students more opportunity to use new technologies.
Our school is also a place of activity. Through the efforts and volunteerism of staff, St. Augustine offers a rich and varied pool of almost 90 different after school extra-curricular activities for our students. I encourage our students to become involved in our extra-curricular school life as these activities provide both balance and personal growth.
