      Cross-Country 2011

Congratulations to the Cross Country Team. Our runners experienced some great races during our Family Meet at Erindale Park. All members should be proud of their accomplishments. A special congratulations go to Sarah K. and Caitlin V. Both of these girls placed in the top 10 for their race, and advanced to the Board competition. Again, they both placed very well. Mme. Fleury commends all runners for their hard work and de-termination

Co-Ed Flag Football   

Congratulations to all the Intermediate boys and girls on this year's Flag Football Team. Our team played well together and competed against our family of schools in exiting games. However, eventually fatigue and cold temperatures overcame us ending our tournament for the fall season. Coach Watters would like to thank all who tried out and please try out again for the spring season tournament.

Thunderbirds Volleyball 2011

Congratulations to the Girls' Intermediate Volleyball Team who showed great teamwork and team spirit though the season! The girls proudly represented St. Teresa of Avila by displaying wonderful sportsmanship and responsible behaviour. The coaches, Mrs. Farrell and Miss Candiano, would like to thank: Maria A., Tanya D., Kaitlyn L., Milaina L., Val Angela M., Mayelin M.G., Emily M., Kartoya T., Tamara U., and Ivanna Z.

The Intermediate Boys' had a fabulous season. Their great skill, hard work and determina-tion shone through with every practice and game.

The coach, Mr. Watters, would like to con-gratulate the following team members for their wonderful efforts: Jonathan C., Kevin D., Duane D., Melnard L., Jay Clarck R., Michael S., Marcus T.A., Alexander T., and Tyler W.

St. Teresa of Avila Ice Hockey Team 

Again this year, St. Teresa of Avila has combined with St. Elizabeth Seton to create a co-ed intermediate level ice hockey team! 

This is an exciting opportunity for both your school communities to work together and compete with other school within our Board.  We will keep you posted on our progress!

Thunderbirds Softball

 

Under the smart management of Mr. and Mrs. Lillicrop, our T-Birds set out to compete in this year's co-ed softball tournament.  All players displayed commitment and skillful plays during practices which translated into a third place finish. The T-Birds displayed offensive and defensive plays unseen before.  Congratulations to all players and both managers!
