St. Teresa of Avila
The primary focus of a Catholic School Advisory Council is, through active participation of parents, to improve pupil achievement and to enhance the accountability of the education system to parents. A Catholic School Councils primary means of achieving its purpose by making recommendations in accordance with this policy and regulation to the principal of the school and the DPCDSB.
News from Our Parent Council
An election for membership on the St. Teresa of Avila School Council was not necessary. The following parents are acclaimed as members of our Council for the 2011—2010 school year.

We would like to thank the School Advisory Council of 2011—2012 for their efforts on behalf of our students. Last year the Council con-tinued their monetary support of Artists in the School, Field Trip Subsidies, and support for Sacramental celebrations. As a school community we appreciate this continued support and cooperation.
