SAFE SCHOOLS
The students and staff are proud of the caring and inclusive school community that exists at St. Benedict School. We care about others and see it as our personal and collective responsibility to help and assist anyone who needs it. The Peer Mediator Program trains our intermediate students to assist younger children who are experiencing difficulties with others by using their conflict resolution skills to improve interpersonal interactions within the student community.
Our School Handbook and Code of Student Behaviour provide students, parents and staff with a clear understanding of the school policies, procedures and expectations. The overall goal of this code is to create and maintain a safe, caring and inclusive Catholic learning community. We believe that we must treat each other with respect and try to live our lives by Jesus' example. By caring, supporting and modeling positive behaviours and interactions with one another, we all help to create a healthy, Catholic learning environment.
