SPORTS

     St. Bernadette Catholic Elementary School is known for many things.  We're known for our strong staff, students, education and spirit.  We are also known for our sports teams.  Our sports teams are called the St. Bernadette Barracudas.  Our school participates in all sports offered by Dufferin Peel such as volleyball, basketball, soccer, cross country, and track and field.  We also have many banners hanging in our gym which show how our school placed across our school board. 

1999-2000 Jr Girls Volleyball finalist in the regionals, boards and the family tournament.

2000-2001 Jr Boys were the Volleyball champions, and the grade 6 boys came in second for Cross Country.

2000-2001 Jr Boys were the champions of the DPEAA.

2000-2001 Jr Boys were the finalists in the Basketball tournament.

2000-2001 Intermediate Boys were the Volleyball champions for the MCAA.

2001 Intermediate Girls were finalists in Basketball.

2001 Grade 7 Boys were the finalists in Cross Country for the MCAA.

2002 Jr Boys Basketball team were finalists.

2002-2003 Intermediate Boys were the Volleyball champions for the regional tournament.

2004-2005 St. Bernadette placed third in Track and Field.

2004-2005 Junior Girls were the Volleyball champions.

2004-2005 Grade 6 Girls were the champions for Cross Country.

2004-2005 Grade 8 Girls were champions for Cross Country.

2005-2006 St. Bernadette athletes placed first in the Mississauga Central Track & Field competition.

St. Bernadette Barracudas have had much success for the past ten years and we hope we have more to come!  GO BARRACUDAS GO!
