Welcome
to
Bishop Scalabrini

During the season of Lent, many of us find that we begin fasting. Perhaps we can think of fasting in another way as listed above. As Ash Wednesday approaches , signifying the beginning of Lent and our Easter season, we focus on all we have that is good and on the sacrifices we can make to help others who are truly less fortunate than ourselves and in need of our support.
It is our hope that the student experience of the liturgy on Ash Wednesday and of receiving ashes on this day, in combination with first hand information on how to “live the gospel” will prove to enhance the significance of this day.
