“I Support Catholic Education”

When you move homes, your “Direction of School Support” automatically defaults to public schools.    You must complete the following form, “Application for Direction of School Support”, if you change your residential address; even if your children do not change school.   Your property taxes will not increase by directing your support to the Catholic Education, as this is just a declaration of where you want your tax dollars to be directed. 
Anyone who owns a house and supports Catholic Education should check their Property Assessment Notice to ensure that they are supporting the Catholic School System.   Make sure that “School Support Designation” states English Separate (English Catholic School Supporter) or call the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board Admissions Department at 905-890-0708 ext. 24500 and they will check the Municipal Rolls database for you.
We want to see Catholic Schools continue to exist and flourish so please raise awareness to family and friends even if they do not have children in the system.
