The four-step process


TechnoPro®  management has developed a four-step process in assisting clients.

1. The first thing TechnoPro® does is complete a profile of the client’s needs by having them fill out a profile sheet. This profile sheet asks the clients various questions in regards to the computers intended use. The profile sheet will assist the TechnoPro® team in determining the specific needs of each customer.

2. The second stage is the evaluation stage. In this stage, TechnoPro® employees evaluate each client’s profile to determine what the most appropriate computer system is for that person/business.

3. The third stage is the research stage. During this stage, TechnoPro®employees will scan the local market to determine who is selling what the client needs for the best price. A report is then created for the proposal team which recommends where the client should purchase the computer.

4. The last stage is the proposal stage. In this stage, TechnoPro® employees create a formal proposal and presented their findings to the client.

    You have been hired by TechnoPro® Consulting Services to help its residential clients find the most appropriate & best possible computer package. TechnoPro® Consulting Services is dedicated to providing its clients with the best possible deals when purchasing a computer.

    Many of TechnoPro®'s clients do not know that much about computer hardware systems. They like TechnoPro®  because the employees explain the computer hardware lingo in ways which are easy to understand.

    Your first task is to familiarize yourself with the lingo & technical terms associated with the purchase a computer. As well, you will need to begin researching what types of computer products are currently being sold in the market place by collecting information and ads from various computer retailers and doing on-line research. These will be needed when you have to research the local market.

At TechnoPro® employees work in teams of 3 to share info, make recommendations and finalize decisions.

In groups of three, you will be assigned various tasks (assignments) as they relate to the four-step process described above.
