FOOTBALL TEAM WEIGHT ROOM - All players wishing to join the weight room for this semester must see Coach Ocampo or Coach Venier with a completed permission form and Fee PLUS their REPORT CARD. Students who have 1 course failed on their report card will not be permitted to join and can re-apply at the start of the second semester.

Junior Boys Uniform/Equipment Return and Locker Cleanout - date TBA. Players who do not show up for locker cleanout will have all belongings removed from their locker and placed in the lost and found. Lockers will then be cleaned out and secured. ALL PLAYERS WHO HAVE Equipment that is missing and that has not been recorded as being returned will have their $200 cheques cashed. Any questions, feel free to see the coaches.

Players wanting to order Varsity Letterman Jackets can begin placing orders with Coach Ocampo NOW. The deadline to pay and place an order is extended to Tuesday, November 17th. Cost of the Jacket is now $270. Please see above link for more information.

PLAYER FEES FOR 2009 SEASON
*ALL PLAYERS WHO MAKE THE TEAM WILL BE REQUIRED TO PROVIDE A $200 EQUIPMENT DEPOSIT CHEQUE. CHEQUES WILL ONLY BE CASHED IF EQUIPMENT AND UNIFORMS ARE NOT RETURNED AT THE END OF THE SEASON.
BOTH JUNIOR AND SENIOR TEAMS WILL BE GIVEN A PLAYER PACKAGE WHICH INCLUDES MOUTHGUARD, BELT, SOCKS, TSHIRT, PRACTICE JERSEY. TEAM FEES ALSO INCLUDE THE $30 ATHLETIC FEE WHICH INCLUDES THE PLAYERS TICKET TO THE ATHLETIC BANQUET AT THE END OF THE YEAR. IN ADDITION, PLAYERS WILL ALSO RECEIVE THE FOLLOWING:
JUNIOR FEE - $110 (UNDER ARMOUR LONG SLEEVE SHIRT)
SENIOR FEE - $150 (FOOTBALL JERSEY)
ONCE A PLAYER HAS MADE THE 2009 ROSTER, PLAYER FEES MUST BE PAID BEFORE THE FIRST GAME OF THE SEASON OR FACE REMOVAL FROM THE SQUAD.

Special Thanks to Guest Speaker, Hamilton Tigercat Linebacker Ray Mariuz who recently came to St.Edmund Campion to talk with our football team (both current members as well as prospective players). His informal talk discussed such issues as "Where football can take you" and he answered a variety of questions regarding training, expectations and life in the CIS and CFL. Thanks to Ray for spending time with the Bears!
