P.E.A.C.E. TEAM:
Peers Evangelizing Against Conflict Everywhere

The PEACE Team (Peers Evangelzing Against Conflict Everywhere) is a senior-student group based out of the Chaplaincy Department at St. Edmund Campion Catholic Secondary School.

The PEACE Team is called to be the face of Christ among their peers at St. Edmund Campion. This is accomplished by acting compassionately towards others and constantly being aware of the presence of God and Jesus in their daily lives.

For the first time in the history of St. Edmund Campion, grade 11 and 12 members of the PEACE Team will be facilitating student retreats that are operated as part of the Chaplaincy/Retreat program. This initiative serves the idea that youth speak and evangelize most effectively to other youth. By being role models of Christ for other students and leading them in team-building activities, exercises, and reflections, PEACE Team members contribute greatly to the larger school spirit. It is this very spirit that promotes community, well-being, and a genuine care for others that is the ultimate goal of a Catholic educational institution.
