Opportunities through the Business Department

Get elected to take part in Camp Enterprise, a free, all expenses paid 3.5 day business seminar held by the Rotary Clubs of Mississauga and sponsored by local businesses. Get the chance to meet about 85 other eager business students from about 25 other high schools. |

Learn about Summer Company – a competition that takes place in April for those with business sense and entrepreneurial ideas. |

Advanced placement in both micro and macro economics provides preparation for the standard provincial exam held in May each year. |

Obtain a “Business Certificate” upon the successful completion of 6 business courses. This is a great way to enhance your business knowledge and set yourself above the rest in preparation for university business. |

Although high school business courses may not be a mandatory requirement for some university business courses, it does provide a tremendous learning advantage. Much of the introductory business courses taught at the university level would have been taught at the high school level. |
