Description:
The Budget Department implements, controls and monitors board-wide expenditures. The process is impacted by the Province’s new Funding Model that restricts the allocation of financial resources between classrooom and non-classroom expenditures. The department prepares an annual budget, a revised budget as well as several financial reports for Board Management and the Ministry of Education.
Our Budget process is designed to provide financial cost data for control and projection purposes including; year-to-date and historical expenditure comparisons, statistical and trend analysis and budget-to-actual information.
Budget Department staff are available for consultation on matters relating to budgets and financial expenditures.
