Description:
The Grants Department is responsible for matters pertaining to the General Legislative Grants and Tax Levies. Its mandate also includes preparation of financial statements and other financial, reports for the Ministry of Education, as well as matters relating to pupil accounting, and consultative services to other departments on matters pertaining to revenue.
Data on daily enrolment for resident and non-resident students is forwarded to this department and reflected in the estimates and financial statements for timely submission to the Ministry of Education.
Its services also include verification of approvals received from the Ministry of Education to ensure that the maximum grants are obtained.
