Description:
The Transportation department provides home to school transportation for approximately 52,000 students.
Some other duties of the Transportation department include:
Provide transportation to Silvercreek, as well as special transportation for physically, mentally, emotionally challenged students in the form of wheelchair vans, mini buses, mini vans and taxi cabs
Inform parents and schools of transportation eligibility
Prepare transportation information for schools indicating scheduled stops, pick-up and drop-off times for the upcoming school year
Provide schools with maps indicating transportation boundaries
