The Teacher Personnel Department is responsible for the administration of all recruitment and employment related matters, including salary administration for the folllowing positions:
- Elementary Teachers
- Secondary Teachers
- Occasional Teachers
- Educational Resource Workers
- Alternative and Continuing Education Teachers and Instructors
Note: ALL new employees will be required to submit a current original criminal reference check (CRC) including a "Vulnerable Sector Screening" (VSS) within 6 months prior to commencing employment with the Board.

- Completed Catholic Parish Priest Reference Form or a letter from your parish priest
- Proof of completion or enrollment in the pre-service religion course

- Certificate of Qualifications from the Ontario College of Teachers (new graduates upon receipt)
- Practice teaching reports for new graduates upon receipt
Designated Early Childhood Educators:

- Transcripts/Diploma of Early Childhood Education Certificate
- Certificate in good standing with The College of Early Childhood Educators
- Job Related experience
- Practicum Reports
Educational Resource Workers:

- Transcripts/Diploma of Early Childhood Education Certificate
- Educational Assistant Diploma
- Copy of a University Degree, if applicable
- Post Secondary Education Certificate or Diploma
