Bruno Iannicca has served the Dufferin-Peel Catholic community as a Catholic school trustee in 1991. Over the past 15 years, Bruno has served in leadership capacities on various board committees, including Vice-Chair of the Program & Faith Committee, Chair and Vice-Chair of the Administration & Finance Committee and Vice-Chair of the Contracts Negotiation Committee. Bruno has a BA degree in Commerce and Economics from the University of Toronto , and a diploma in Management Studies from Sheridan College .
This Senior Service Specialist at Canada Post is active in the community as a coach for a youth hockey team. He cites his motivation to serve as a Catholic school trustee as an opportunity to give back to the community in which he was raised, and educated. “This position gives me a great deal of satisfaction by simply representing the people that are my and your neighbour. It is all about trying to help each and every child achieve the ultimate goal of this board and that is to be educated to the highest level possible. It is our children that are our future.”
