General Interest Courses - Fall 2008
How to Register For a General Interest Course With Us
REGISTRATION DEADLINE is September 19, 2008
You must be 18 years or older to register.
1. Fax: 905-271-9060. Fax your completed registration form from page 21 with your VISA credit card number, expiry date and signature. We cannot reserve a spot without receiving payment.
2. In Person: You may come to our office to register for a course. We are located at: 870 Queen Street West, Suite 100, Mississauga, ON, L5H 4G1. The closest intersection is Lakeshore Road and Mississauga Road. Our office hours are 8:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday.
3. Mail: Mail your completed registration form found on page 21 with payment (either cheque or VISA credit card number, expiry date and signature) to our office: Dufferin-Peel Adult and Continuing Education, 870 Queen Street West, Suite 100, Mississauga, ON, L5H 4G1. Please use one cheque per course.
4. Phone in: Call 905-891-9263 Ext. 0 between the hours of 8:30am and 4:30pm. Do Not Call Individual Schools. Please have your VISA credit card information ready when calling to register by phone.
5. Payment: Cash, Money Order, Cheque or VISA card (sorry no Mastercard or American Express). A spot will be reserved once payment is made. Please use a separate cheque for each course and each person. Please attend the first night - no confirmations will be made by phone or mail. Payment received is your confirmation. There will be a $15.00 charge for NSF cheques.
6. Cancellation Policy: For refunds please call our office at 905-891-9263 Ext. 0 48 hours before the first class. If we cancel a course, a full refund will be issued. If you cancel PRIOR to the end of the first class a $25 administration fee and a fee for the first class will be charged. There are no refunds after the first class. Non attendance is not accepted as a withdrawal notice for any course.
7. Late Registration: If you would like to register after the registration deadline, you can attempt to go to the general interest course location on the first evening of the course and register in person at the main office. If there is availability in the course you will be registered.
There is a $10.00 Seniors’ Discount per course for those 65 years or older as of the first day of the class. Discount available only at time of registration.
There are no classes when schools are normally closed for holidays. Thanksgiving, Christmas Break, March Break, Good Friday & Easter Monday.

Once you have registered for a course with us, we will not be contacting you by phone or mail reminding you of the start date.
NO COURSE CONFIRMATIONS WILL BE GIVEN BY PHONE OR SENT BY MAIL.
WE WILL ONLY CONTACT INDIVIDUALS IF A COURSE HAS BEEN CANCELLED.
