Literacy & Numeracy Programs
The Ministry of Education provides funding for after school remedial and family literacy and numeracy programs for students and parents/guardians of students requiring remediation and support.
These programs are offered at the local school level depending on the need.
Family Literacy and Numeracy is offered for the parents/guardians of students during evening sessions to provide them with strategies to support their children.
Remedial programs are run in modules for periods of time recommended by the Principal of the home school. Such topics include:
