} Catholic school board & business partners aim to raise $100,000 for Four Winds Boys Camp through annual charity golf tournament
MISSISSAUGA – The Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board and business partner, Metafore IT Solutions, hope to raise $100,000 for the Four Winds Boys Camp as they co-host the 10th Annual Charity Golf Classic at Clublink’s Rattlesnake Point in Milton on July 9. The Dufferin-Peel/Metafore partnership has raised over $730,000 for local and national charities over the past nine years. Four Winds Boys Camp, located on Lake Simcoe near Orillia, provides a much-needed summer camp experience for boys, aged 7-13, who would not otherwise have one due to financial or social circumstances.
Past beneficiaries have included ShareLife, S’port for Kids Foundation, The Kidney Foundation, The Canadian Diabetes Association, Community Living Mississauga, Sunshine Foundation, and The Arthritis Society.
Tournament participants include Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board and Metafore personnel and representatives from a range of business associates of both organizations.
