Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board and Dufferin-Peel Elementary Teachers (OECTA) agree to resume bargaining
MISSISSAUGA – The Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board and the Dufferin-Peel Elementary Unit of the Ontario English Catholic Teachers Association have agreed to the resumption of negotiations and have scheduled talks for November 19 and 20.
The two parties had met previously for seven full days of bargaining and four days of smaller group talks but had not met since October 17.
The Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board is one of the largest school boards in Ontario, with 123 elementary schools located throughout Mississauga, Brampton, Caledon and Orangeville. The Dufferin-Peel Elementary Unit of the Ontario English Catholic Teachers Association represents approximately 3,000 teachers.
