High school students are invited to participate in a learning experience that combines the sites and sounds of Italy with courses that count towards high school credit. Ciao Italia, a program organized by the Global Learning Institute (the facet of Adult and Continuing Education at the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board responsible for international studies) in partnership with Calabria International Tours, takes students through cities including Rome, Pompeii and Vatican City, exposing them to some of the best that Italy has to offer.

The program runs from June 29 - July 23, 2008. Students have three courses from which to choose:

English Courses:

ENG3U—English (Grade 11)
