900 student musicians make marvelous music together
Dufferin-Peel Catholic music students to form 900 member mass band
On November 26, over 900 students will gather in Mississauga for the Fourth Annual Dufferin-Peel Grade 9 Music Festival. This all-day event will bring together students from 17 Dufferin-Peel Catholic secondary schools to participate in a series of music clinics taught by Dufferin-Peel teachers. The majority of students have never been involved in music prior to this past September. Following the clinics, students will form a mass band of 900 musicians and perform four musical selections.
