Dufferin-Peel announces dates for Kindergarten Registration
Full-Day Kindergarten will be offered at 55 schools in September 2012
Junior, Senior and Full-Day Kindergarten registration for the 2012-13 school year, for children not already registered, will be held at all Dufferin-Peel Catholic elementary schools on February 6 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. and February 8, 9, 10 from 9:00-11:00 a.m. and 1:00-3:00 p.m.
Parents/guardians should bring the following documents when registering their child:
- proof of age (Birth Certificate)
- original Roman Catholic baptismal certificate (for child and/or parent/guardian) or baptismal certificate from an Eastern Church in full communion with the Holy See of Rome. If the child has not been baptized, and the parent/guardian is a baptized Roman Catholic or is baptized from an Eastern Church in full communion with the Holy See of Rome, the parent/guardian must bring their own baptismal certificate.
- updated immunization records
- proof of Canadian citizenship (Birth Certificate or Passport) or of Landed Immigrant status
- proof of address (tax bill, utility bill, bank statement)
- for schools in Caledon and Dufferin County: emergency rural address numbers for identifying your property
Junior Kindergarten students must be 4 years of age, and Senior Kindergarten students must be 5 years of age, by December 31, 2012 to register.
In September 2012, Dufferin-Peel will offer the Full-Day Kindergarten Program for four and five-year-olds at 55 schools:
