Lieutenant-governor to deliver Catholic Education Week address at St. Edmund Campion Secondary School
On April 28, Lieutenant-Governor David C. Onley will deliver an address to 120 students at St. Edmund Campion Secondary School in Brampton to mark the start of Catholic Education Week. Catholic Education Week is celebrated across Ontario during the week of April 27-May 2. This year’s theme is “We are Called”. The lieutenant-governor will address one of Catholic Education Week’s sub-themes – to act justly.

The Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board is one of largest and most diverse school districts in Ontario, with approximately 88,000 students in 144 Catholic schools throughout Mississauga, Brampton, Caledon and Orangeville. With over 10,000 employees, the board is also one of the largest employers in the region.
