Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board and Mid-management Association reach tentative agreement
MISSISSAUGA – On Monday, October 20, the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board and the Mid-Management Association reached a tentative agreement of the terms and working conditions pending approval of the Board. The four year agreement is in accordance with the Provincial Discussion Table framework as agreed to by the Ministry of Education and Catholic school boards across the province. This agreement covers supervisory, administrative and senior secretarial employees and non-union administrative employees.
The board continues to negotiate with its other employee groups.
The Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board is one of the largest school boards in Ontario, with approximately 87,000 students in 145 schools located throughout Mississauga, Brampton, Caledon and Orangeville. With approximately 10,000 employees, the board is also one of the largest employers in the region.
