Robert F. Hall students help take back the community
Joint venture between students and OPP cleans up graffiti at the Bolton Skateboard Park
The Bolton Skateboard Park, which was covered in racist and obscene graffiti after it was vandalized earlier this year, will soon paint a different story thanks to students at Robert F. Hall Catholic Secondary School. On Wednesday, June 8, a Caledon OPP approved mural will be unveiled at the skateboard park.
Over 30 students from the arts program at Robert F. Hall, led by visual arts teacher, Linda Vitti, painted murals overtop the graffiti in the skate park. The students worked for months on a mural which was presented and approved by the Caledon OPP.
Caledon mayor, Marolyn Morrison, Catholic school board trustee, Frank Di Cosola, Dufferin-Peel superintendent, Paul McMorrow, and school principal, Ed McMahon will be among the officials attending the unveiling ceremony.
