Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board and CUPE Local 2026 reach tentative agreement on new four-year contract

MISSISSAUGA – The Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board and CUPE Local 2026 have reached a tentative collective agreement. The agreement is for a four-year contract in accordance with the Provincial Discussion Table framework as agreed to by the Ministry of Education and Catholic school boards across the province.

CUPE Local 2026 represents Clerical, Secretarial and Technical Staff in all elementary and secondary schools, administrative offices and satellite sites.

The Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board is one of the largest school boards in Ontario, with approximately 87,000 students in 145 schools located throughout Mississauga, Brampton, Caledon and Orangeville. With approximately 10,000 employees, the board is also one of the largest employers in the region.
