300 students commissioned as Youth Faith Ambassadors
Archbishop Thomas Collins will preside over Mass
On Monday, November 24, 300 Dufferin-Peel Catholic students from the Mississauga Family of Schools will be commissioned as Youth Faith Ambassadors at a Mass presided by Archbishop Thomas Collins.
Youth Faith Ambassadors organize activities which promote Catholic values and conduct works of service in their school communities.
The Mass and Commissioning Ceremony will take place at St. Dominic Church in Mississauga at 10:00 a.m.
The Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board is one of largest and most diverse school districts in Ontario, with approximately 88,000 students in 145 Catholic schools throughout Mississauga, Brampton, Caledon and Orangeville. With over 10,000 employees, the board is also one of the largest employers in the region.
