THE ONTARIO STUDENT TRANSCRIPT

The Ontario Student Transcript ( OST ) provides a comprehensive record of a student's overall achievement in high school. This record will include all the credits earned by the student including day school credits, continuing education credits or those earned through alternative means. The OST will include:

  • all successfully completed credits in Grade 9 and 10 with percentage grades earned and credits gained;
  • all senior courses taken or attempted with percentage grades earned and credits gained(Courses from which a student has withdrawn subsequent to 5 days following the first reporting cycle will appear with the mark earned up to the date of withdrawal.);
  • identification of any course that has been substituted for a compulsory course;
  • confirmation of successful completion of the community involvement requirement;
  • final result on the provincial secondary school literacy test;
  • an indication of any extraordinary circumstances affecting the student's achievement in senior level courses.
