Assessment, Evaluation and Reporting
The final grade for each course from Grades 9-12 is determined as follows:
70% of the grade is based upon evaluations conducted throughout the course;
30% of the grade is based upon a final evaluation in the form of an examination, performance, essay and/or other method of evaluation suitable to the course content. Some of these are scheduled during class time towards the end of the semester/year and the rest are scheduled during the examination period. There are no exemptions from these final evaluations. Vacations, work experiences and other personal activities must be scheduled outside of these days.
