§ Adventure based learning experiences are used to create a reservoir of skills that help to facilitate leadership and employability skills.
§ Adventure experiences include various types of Physical Education, high and low rope courses, low organization activities and initiatives, wilderness excursions to Algonquin Park, Duke of Edinborough Award (Bronze), First Aid Training and Certification. |

§ Have achieved most of their compulsory credits
§ Express an interest in social justice issues focusing on the marginalized and poor within our local community
§ Willing to participate in group work and community service activities
§ Program Length -one semester to 1 yr. |
§ Project based learning focusing on service opportunities with various community partners.
§ Program goals look towards a plan to extend opportunities for service within Ontario and abroad.
§ Students will achieve credits in Religion, English, Leadership and Peer Support and Social Science.

§ Individual Assessment Equivalency
§ Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR) Program is designed to help mature students earn missing grade 9 and 10 courses by testing their knowledge of key subjects
§ Program Length – Duration of Study and Assessment(s) |
§ Educational Assessment Centre
§ The PLAR subject areas include History & Geography, Math, Science, and English.
§ Students work through a Review Component package for the subjects that they need.
§ Student will then write the PLAR test for that subject. Successful completion of this test results in acquirement of the equivalent grade 9/10 credits. |

§ TTOP- Pre-Trades – full semester, 2 days per week
§ Or senior students who are interested in exploring various trades
§ COTT – full semester, 1 day per week

§ Electrical/Electrician Pathway – 2 dual Credit Courses to prepare for Construction Maintenance Electrician or Industrial Electrician
§ Precision Machining and Tooling Pathway – 2 Dual Credit Courses to prepare for Tool and Die Maker, Tool Maker, General Machinist, Mould Maker, etc.
§ Career Opportunities in Trades and Technology (COTT) 1 Dual Credit course – Explore industrial practices; machining, tooling, welding, industrial maintenance, computerized numerical control (CNC) and various construction skills (eg. Basic carpentry, dry walling, wiring etc) |
