Notes:

Competitions marked with a * require participation in a qualifying competition at TBA

For 2D Animation, Carpentry Individual, Culinary Arts and TV and Video production, both the first and second place teams/competitors will move on to the qualifying competitions on

 

For Precision Machining, Small Powered Equipment and Welding, only the first place competitor will go to the qualifying competitions on

 

Certain categories of the Provincial competitions do not go on to the National level or International level competitions. 

 

Eligibility

 

Competitions are open to all DPCDSB secondary students who meet the following conditions in the current school year:

a)    Be less than 22 years of age as of December 31, 2011.

b)    Be enrolled in a subject related to the area of the contest in which they will compete OR have completed a senior level course in that subject area in the past OR have completed a cooperative education placement related to their contest area.

c)     Have been earning high school credits any time between September 2011 and June 2012.

d)    Be a Canadian Citizen or have landed immigrant status in Ontario
