Ontario Ministry of Education and Other Ministries
The Ministry of Education administers the system of publicly funded elementary and secondary school education in Ontario, in accordance with the directions set by the provincial government. Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board reports to the Ministry of Education and, as a Catholic institution, responds to the teachings of the Catholic Church as outlined in Canon Law.

Other Links
Ontario's Human Rights Code was enacted in 1962. The Code protects people in Ontario against discrimination. The Ontario Human Rights Commission was established in 1961 to administer the Code. The Commission is an arm's length agency of government accountable to the people of Ontario through the legislature. Further details can be found the Ontario Human Rights Commission website.
