Welcome to an amazing new school year here at St.Chris! We have many exciting things happening during these next few months and in the months to come. Our new Student Parliament are ready to help make these things happen.

We are so lucky to have the amazing staff and students that we do; people who are so hard working and who are always willing to take on the exciting new tasks here at St.Chrstopher.

We recently participated in our annual food drive where students are able to donate as many non-parishable items as they wish to the local food bank. This year was a great success and we are so proud to be part of a school where everyone is always willing to help. During the month of October, the staff and students always look forward to our fun halloween dance. There will be three seperate dances for Kindergarden-Grade 3, Grades 4-6 and Grade 7/8, all taking place on October 31st.

The Student Parliament Executives and the Intermediate class reps recently participated in the Youth Faith Rally on October 13th at the John Paul Cultural Centre.. It was a thouroghly enjoyable day for everyone that attended. It is so important to bring everyone together to celebrate our Faith and learn about different cultures. The students were entertained with fantastic Haitian dancers that had amazing and unique life stories. We thank everyone who made that day possible and to all who participated.

St.Chris is working very hard to be as eco-friendly as possible. Our Minister of environment is working with with Father Scott and many volunteer students on projects outside. We are currently working on cleaning up our Peace Garden and planting more trees around our beautiful school. We are certain that everyone will work together to develop even more ideas for how we can be environmentally friendly.

These are just a few of the many things that are currently happening here at St.Christopher. We are so excited to kick-off a new school year with so many activities with the help of our fabulous staff and amazing new Student Parliament.
