Remembrance Day Exhibit
at Christ the King School
Every year Mr. Masson ( a grade 4 teacher at Christ the King School) has transformed our school into a living Remembrance Day tribute. With a personal collection of over a thousand authentic artifacts on display, students and the community are encouraged to see, touch and explore numerous items of the brave men and women who sacrificed their lives, so that we can enjoy the freedom we have today.
Mr. Masson also commemorates Remembrance Day by organizing a solemn Remembrance Day ceremony, which will be celebrated in the school gym at 11:00am on November 11th.
Schools and the public can view this interactive display on November 6, 7, 10, and 11th (8:45 a.m. - 3:15 p.m.) Due to the popularity of the display the evening of Monday, November 10th (6:00 - 8:30 p.m.) has also been added for those wishing to view the exhibit.
If you would like to view this remarkable Remembrance Day display please contact the school office at Christ the King at 905-569-0220.
