EcoTeam In keeping with Newman's goal of becoming an Eco school, we will be initiating Litterless Lunch Wednesdays. Our goal is too reduce waste so that when Brampton Clean City comes back in the spring (to weigh our garbage) we've made a noticable difference. P.A.L.S.

The Playground Activity Leaders in Schools (P.A.L.S.) is a playground leadership program offered by Peel Health that encourages all children to participate in activities regardless of their gender, size or ability.  The student leaders learned and played many different seasonal games with our Grade 1 to 3 students this year.  All students had a great time and had lots of fun.  Students going into Grades 5 and 6 will be invited to join in the new P.A.L.S. training in September.  Congratulations goes out to all of our P.A.L.S. from teacher leaders: Mrs. Chiechi, Miss Stewart, Miss Nogueira and Mrs. Anisko-Clutton.  See you in September!
