Outdoor Adventure Club

We are excited this year to have the opportunity to supervise the activities of d’Youville’s very own Outdoor Adventure Club. This is our tenth year! Club members will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of outdoor (and some indoor) adventure activities. Students who join the Outdoor Club will have the opportunity to take part in day trips for hiking, orienteering, mountain biking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, rock-climbing as well as several overnight and multi-day trips such as a winter activities weekend and an end-of-year canoeing trip.
The Outdoor Club will also be running meetings approximately every other week. During these meetings, members will learn and practice new skills such as:
This year the activity fee for the Outdoor Club is $20. This fee helps to defray some of the costs such as park entrance fees, transportation costs, and supply teachers for school-day trips.

We ask that you please fill these in completely and they will be kept on file for every trip the club runs. The tentative dates for these events can be found below.
As the events are organized, permission forms (and any related activity payment forms) will be posted on this web site. It is the responsibility of members to check this web page frequently and attend club meetings to stay informed! In order to facilitate the organization of these trips, we ask that you complete and return all forms as early as possible.
The teacher supervisors in the Outdoor Club this year have a wealth of experience and a diverse range of backgrounds applicable to many different activities and aspects of outdoor adventure.
