Father Clair Tipping officially opened its doors on February, 22, 1999.  The official school blessing was held on May, 6, 1999.  Msgr. Ken Robitaille officiated the celebrations along with Father Wayne Manne.  Msgr. Robitaille had been a classmate of Father Clair Tipping when they were both at the seminary.  Father Clair Tipping had been pastor at St. John Fisher Church in Bramalea.
