Note: Community hours must be completed and submitted to the appropriate guidance counsellor by March 26, 2010 in order to secure eligibility for participation in graduation festivities (e.g. Prom, Wondergrad, Graduation Ceremony).

The cost per graduate is $100.00 payable by cash or cheque made payable to Father Michael Goetz Secondary School. (If paying by cheque, please write the graduating student’s name and phone number clearly on the back of the cheque.) This is a non-refundable fee. This fee includes a keepsake invitation to attend the 5:00 p.m. Graduation Ceremony and a keepsake individual photograph of each graduate receiving his/her diploma. Participation is optional, but should you pay the fee and then decide not to attend or be unable to attend for any reason, a refund will not be issued. Only those students who do not attain 30 credits, complete their 40 hours of community service or meet the literacy requirement will receive a refund.
When you make your payment, you will be asked to verify the correct spelling of your name, order your graduation gown (please know your height) and vote for class valedictorian.
You will be required to place an additional $80.00 security deposit, payable by cash or cheque, on your graduation gown WHEN YOU PICK IT UP BY ALPHA ON MONDAY, JUNE 21 (ONLY A-G), TUESDAY, JUNE 22 (ONLY H-O) or WEDNESDAY, JUNE 23 (ONLY P-Z). (If paying by cheque, please write the graduating student’s name and phone number clearly on the back of the cheque.) Please respect the timelines, and be aware that gown distribution is a time-consuming process. We ask for your patience and encourage you to bring study materials so that you can use your time in line productively. The $80.00 deposit will be returned to you after the ceremony on June 28 when you return your gown.
Family and friends of the graduates are welcome to attend the Graduating Ceremony. Each graduate is allowed to bring four guests. Four tickets will be issued to each graduate at the time of gown distribution. Guests must present their tickets at the Mississauga Convention Centre in order to be admitted to the event.
Finally, the souvenir graduation photograph may be picked up in the main office on Tuesday, June 29 or Wednesday, June 30 between 10:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.
