White Pine Reading Club

The Fr. Michael Goetz Resource Centre is organizing The White Pine Reading Club for the year 2007/2008.  It is an excellent opportunity for students to read a selection of quality, Canadian, young adult books, and to discuss them.

The book club will meet regularly in the Resource Centre after school, under the supervision of Mr. Kulig, your Teacher Librarian.   Students who are interested in joining may contact the library staff for more information.

Out of the 10 nominated novels, students are required to read at least 5 books, in order to be qualified to vote for their favourite author.  Based on student voting across Ontario, the most popular book will be selected and the author will be honoured with the White Pine Award.

The 10 nominated novels for this year are listed below.
