The Salesian Retreat

The Salesian retreat is a unique leadership opportunity for Grade Eleven students.  The program, developed by priests and nuns following the teachings of St. Francis de Sales and St. John Bosco, this three day two night experience guarantees the chance to get to know self, others and God better.

The retreat takes place at the St. Francis Center in Orangeville on 150 acres of wooded land.  We hope and pray that this experience plants the seeds in our youth to become young Catholic leaders in our church and schools.

Through this retreat young people come to a realization that faith and fun do go together and that our God is full of surprises.  Strong bonds are created with students from across the Dufferin-Peel Catholic school board, some of which last forever.

This retreat happens only once each semester and only six students from five different schools are chosen to go.
