We want to wish a warm “WELCOME BACK!” to the students and teachers who attended the trip to China. We hope that you all had a fantastic time, and had the chance to experience the journey of a lifetime. We hope that you had a safe and relaxing trip home, and we hope to see all of you soon!
Opposite sides of the world uniting..for a once in a lifetime experience!
Holocaust Education Week
This Year will be the 26th annual Holocaust Education week, and will be stretched from November 1st to November 9th. There will be more than 125 educational programs, all through the GTA. It is a wonderful chance for people of all different backgrounds and religions to learn about the horror of the holocaust, as well as about racial tolerance and the way we should treat eachother.
Sometime within the next week or two, the students in Mr. Leskun's grade 10 history class will be going to visit the holocaust centre in downtown Toronto. The students will have the once in a lifetime oppurtunity to meet with an actual holocaust survivor. A date will be set later on in the week, and pictures will be posted soon, so be sure to check back for updates!
