How you can avoid plagiarism: (Research 36)
- Take careful notes and document the source
- Put your notes in your own words and be sure to include your own thoughts
- Accurately record quotations, paraphrased information and page numbers
- Follow the correct format for quotations, short quotes in quotations and longer ones are indented
- Use parenthetical citations or footnotes/endnotes where needed as instructed by your teachers
- Allow enough time to get all of your work done on time
