Faith Development
St. Gregory School works in partnership with the Church. We belong to St. Joseph's Parish and are fortunate to work with Father Marc-Andre Campbell , the pastor of the Church, Father Mounir El-Rassi and Father Salvador Orara. St. Gregory School teachers assist the Fathers with the preparation of our students for the Sacraments of First Communion, Reconciliation and Confirmation.
The school Pastoral Plan has been developed in order to ensure that a variety of activities which provide for spiritual development compliment one another throughout the school year. Liturgies are celebrated at special times of the year such as Thanksgiving, Remembrance Day, Advent, Ash Wednesday, Easter, Grade 8 Graduation and the closing of the school year. All our students participate in these celebrations and parents are invited to attend. In addition, there are regular opportunities for public prayer, reconciliation, retreats and alms giving. We are proud of our social justice actions, which include "Operation Christmas Child", food drives, Christmas Mitten tree, and various hurricane relief and earthquake support. We are also proud to support a Foster Child through World Vision.
