Welcome to Good Shepherd Catholic School's Website.  We are a Catholic learning community working together to ensure the success of our students.

Jesus often referred to himself as the “Good Shepherd.”  As you know, shepherds guide, protect and carefully watch over those given to their care.  Similarly, the entire school community including parents, teachers, resource workers, custodians, and secretarial staff, have been entrusted with the shepherding of all our students.  We are firmly committed to providing a nurturing environment based on our rich Catholic heritage, a heritage that celebrates diversity, respect and independence. Through the celebration of the sacraments, liturgies and Holy Mass it is our hope to bring every member of our community closer to Jesus, the Good Shepherd.

The staff at Good Shepherd Catholic School recognize the importance of parental involvement and the mutual cooperation necessary to achieve success.  We also recognize the need for students to feel safe and supported in order to acquire self discipline, motivation and academic progress.  Staff will continue to implement and consolidate the Ministry of Education priorities established in the last few years as we continue to hone the best practices that promote student growth.  At the forefront of these initiatives are literacy and numeracy skills development, virtues education, bullying prevention and diversity education.
